JUCO Dawg of the Week: Treshawn Cody – Hocking College’s High-Energy Star

Treshawn Cody, a 6’6″ wing for Hocking College, is making a name for himself as one of the most dominant and versatile JUCO players in the country. With elite athleticism, an unmatched motor, and a relentless work ethic, Cody has been putting up eye-popping numbers, averaging 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game. His ability to impact the game on both ends makes him a must-watch prospect at the next level.

A True Two-Way Force
Cody’s explosiveness and high-energy playstyle separate him from the competition. Offensively, he’s a dynamic scorer who thrives in transition, finishes above the rim with authority, and has the ability to attack the basket with power. His 25 PPG average is a testament to his scoring versatility, as he can finish strong at the rim and knock down shots when needed.

On the defensive end, Cody is a nightmare for opponents. His length, athleticism, and instincts allow him to be a high-level shot blocker (3 BPG) while also having the mobility to guard positions 1 through 4. He brings an intensity and physicality that makes him a true defensive anchor.

A High-Major Talent
Cody’s skill set makes him an immediate-impact player at the next level. His defensive versatility, rebounding, and relentless motor fit the mold of a player who can thrive in both mid-major (MM) and low-major (LM) programs. His ability to play both ends of the floor at a high level makes him a coveted prospect for four-years.
