Understanding the Tiered Ranking System

Hoop Cannect’s ranking system includes four distinct tiers, each designed to help categorize players based on their projected impact and potential at the next level:

• Platinum Tier: Reserved for the top 100 players in the country, this tier includes athletes who are considered elite and High Major prospects. These players are expected to be among the best of their class and are closely followed by top NCAA programs.
• Gold Tier: For the top 300 players, this tier showcases highly talented athletes who have demonstrated exceptional skills and the potential to compete at a high level.
• Silver Tier: Including the top 500 players, this category highlights athletes who continue to stand out and have shown promise in their skill sets and development.
• Bronze Tier: This category encompasses the top 600-1000 players, recognizing athletes who have significant potential and the ability to grow into strong prospects.

A Placeholder, Not a Ranking

It is important to note that the number listed next to each player in this release is not a specific ranking or order of merit. Rather, these numbers serve as placeholders within each tier, indicating a player’s inclusion but not their exact standing relative to their peers.
