Batavia, OH — April 26–27
The opening stop of the Connect League powered by AND1 was nothing short of electric as 17U teams stormed the courts at Elite Sports Complex in Batavia, Ohio. With intense competition, elite-level talent, and standout performances across the board, Stop 1 gave scouts, fans, and college coaches plenty to talk about.
Four programs emerged undefeated over the weekend, staking their claim as early favorites in the 17U division: Triple Threat, Indiana Jazz, CLT Wolves, and CBE Bearcats. These teams displayed poise, grit, and relentless execution on both ends of the court.
Top Standouts from Stop 1
The Cam Jackson Showcase spotlighted several high-impact players whose performances helped elevate their teams:
Lakendrick Morris (6’6 F – Triple Threat): A force on both ends, Morris dominated inside with his rebounding and shot-blocking presence.
Corey Flinchum (6’4 G – Focus): Flinchum brought consistent scoring and defensive pressure, making his mark in every game.
Nathaniel Decker & Solomon Boakye (CLT Wolves): This backcourt duo was electric, combining for lockdown defense and timely buckets.
R’Mello Watson (6’0 G – Indiana Jazz): A dynamic playmaker who created offense off the bounce and delivered in crunch time.
Naveyon Shipe (6’5 F – Tennessee Run): Versatile and active, Shipe contributed heavily in rebounding and transition play.
Henrich Barjolo & Davon Hickman (Triple Threat): Barjolo’s perimeter play and Hickman’s inside dominance gave Triple Threat one of the most balanced rosters.
Other players who made strong impressions included William Beaty (TN Run), Jack Hemenway (Vision Elite), Preston Toliver (CPE Evansville), and Maxwell Muhl (Hopson Elite), each showing college-level potential.
