The Gladiators had an impressive weekend at the So Cal JC Jamboree, capping off Day 2 with a perfect 2-0 record. Led by a group of talented student-athletes and a dedicated coaching staff, the team showed resilience and skill on the court. While many players stepped up, Christian Wilson’s performance was particularly notable.
Wilson, a standout this summer as a 1st Team selection in the Connect Basketball League (CBL), continued to showcase his versatility and impact on both ends of the floor. Averaging 5 rebounds per game, Wilson led the Gladiators in rebounding at the Jamboree, providing a consistent presence in the paint and securing key possessions.
His contributions on the glass were complemented by his leadership and ability to read the game, making him a critical asset for the team. Wilson’s effort, combined with the team’s cohesive play, helped the Gladiators claim a hard-fought 53-48 victory over West LA College, a 2024 Final Four state team.
With such performances, Christian Wilson is proving his summer success was no fluke. His continued development and work ethic have placed him in the spotlight, setting the tone for what looks to be a promising season ahead.
As the Gladiators head back home, the focus remains on building from this momentum. With Wilson at the heart of their efforts, the future is bright for both him and the team.
